In an interview with CNBC's Investing Club on Thursday (Dec 9), Ford CEO Jim Farley said 'We have incredible demand for our product. We are completely oversubscribed with our battery operated vehicles." He plans to scale Ford EV business to compete with Tesla (TSLA) and double Ford EVs capacity in two years. (referral link

With regards to General Motors (GM), the Wall Street Journal reports that the company is investing over $3B in Michigan EV projects (referral link). 

In a separated report, Automotive News writes that GM will start Silverado EV production in early 2023 (referral link)
